Training on Specifications & Scrap Standards for Port Lifting Gear — Fugang (Luoyuan) International Port Service Case: Training on Specifications & Scrap Standards for Lifting Gear Client: Fugang (Luoyuan) International Port Service Type: Training Lecture Service Introduction: In September 2025, Fugang (Luoyuan) International Port invited our company to deliver a special training on terminal lifting gear, aiming to strengthen hoisting safety management and consolidate operational safety. Our team attached great importance to this activity and prepared targeted teaching materials in advance. The training drew an overwhelming attendance, with seats fully occupied. Almost all frontline operators, equipment maintenance staff and on-site managers of the port took part. During the session, the instructor combined real working scenarios including cargo loading, unloading, stacking and transshipment at the port, and gave a detailed explanation on model selection, correct rigging methods, key safety operation points and precautions for commonly used lifting gear such as steel wire ropes, shackles, lifting slings and chains. Core operational rules were emphasized, including load limits and standard operating angles under different working conditions, as well as strict prohibitions against overload, forced pulling and oblique lifting. Combined with typical safety accident cases, the instructor visually analyzed potential hazards caused by wear, corrosion, broken wires, deformation and aging of lifting gear. The judgment criteria for scrapping were interpreted item by item. It was clearly stipulated that any lifting gear reaching the scrap standard must be immediately taken out of service and replaced, and operating with defective equipment or reusing scrapped gear is strictly forbidden. This special training fully demonstrated our professional capabilities. We also contributed to enhancing the port’s safety management and securing stable operations.
